Terms of Use
Last updated September 1, 2026 · Applies to Steadfast, the app currently distributed for testing as Scripture by Heart (“the app”), published by Fremdly.
Using the app
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for your own Scripture memorization. Don't misuse the app or its services — including attempting to extract bulk Scripture content beyond your personal use, probing or overloading our services, or reverse-engineering license protections.
Scripture text and attribution
Bible translations in the app are public domain or licensed from their rights holders. Attribution shown with the text is part of the content and must not be removed. Your use of licensed translations through the app does not grant you separate rights to that text.
Subscriptions
Optional paid features are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play under their terms. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in your store account settings. Store refund policies apply.
Coaching, not counsel
The app's coaching — including AI-assisted suggestions — is memorization guidance only. It is not Bible text, translation, commentary, theological instruction, or professional advice of any kind, and it is labeled as such in the app.
Your content
Notes, reflections, and practice data you create remain yours. See the Privacy Policy for how they are handled — most never leave your device.
Warranty and liability
The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To that same extent, Fremdly's total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms or discontinue features; material changes will be noted on this page. You can stop using the app at any time, and you can delete your account and synced data as described in the Privacy Policy.
